Pride and Prejudice: An Intro To Contemporary Fashion (Part 1)

For woman between 1795 and 1820, square necklines with floor length dresses dominated, usually with no cage underneath. Very free-flowing and non-constricting for its time. White was the “in color” and there weren’t a ton of patterns but a fair amount of frill (at least in comparison to dresses after 1820).
